Auckland Africa Day Festival 2017

The African Communities Forum Inc. is proud to host Auckland Africa Day 2017.

This year’s event is a daylong festival at Roskill Youth Zone on Saturday 27 May from 11am to 7pm.

There will be food stalls, African business stalls, information stalls, performances and children’s activities throughout the day.

This year’s theme is Africa’s responsibility for freedom, peace and unity.

Africa Day 2017 was a success!

Auckland Africa Day 2017 was a great success and a beautiful day. Thank you to everyone who made that possible. A huge thank you to our sponsors – Love Cover Protect, New Zealand African Welfare Services Trust, Creative Communities and the Lottery Grants.

A big thank you to our incredible volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the day. We are so grateful.

Thank you to our amazing performers, the businesses, NGOs, food stall holders, the DJ and Ropu Waiata for opening the proceedings.

And thank you to all of those who turned up, supported and celebrated the day with us. We hope you had fun!
